Catering at Brackengarth is delivered by the team behind K&R Event Catering, an award-winning, family-run business specialising in weddings across Northern Ireland.
Before opening Brackengarth, Katrina and Russell spent years catering at venues throughout the province. That experience now shapes how food and service are delivered here, with flexibility, thoughtful timing and genuine care at the centre of every celebration.
Choosing your menu
Once your date is secured, you are invited to a complimentary tasting day for up to six people. During this experience, you can sample a wide range of dishes and wines before selecting a menu that reflects your tastes, your guests and the style of your day.
Wedding menus typically range from £40 to £95 per person, with most couples choosing options within the £75 to £85 per person range. These commonly include:
Prosecco and bottled beer drinks reception
Grazing table or afternoon tea
Main wedding breakfast served on sharing boards
Dessert with tea and coffee
A glass of wine with the meal
Evening food
Menus are always tailored to individual preferences, dietary requirements and the overall feel of the celebration.
Joined up and well paced
Because the venue and catering are managed by the same experienced team, service flows naturally from one part of the day to the next. This joined-up approach helps create a relaxed atmosphere for both couples and guests, without the need to coordinate multiple external suppliers.
Fresh, local and prepared for the day
Menus are created using fresh ingredients sourced from local suppliers wherever possible, including farms, dairies, bakeries and sustainable fisheries. Free-range poultry, grass-fed livestock and seasonal produce guide menu design, with herbs and vegetables also grown on site.
All food is prepared fresh on the day, without pre-preparation or storage, ensuring quality, flavour and presentation at the moment it is served.
